Collection: Ragavandana

Ragavandana series is based on Indian Classical Music. In Indian Classical Music, there is 'Mat' which is a classification of ragas and raginis.

There is mainly Shivmat, Bharatmat, Tumru mat and Hamunamnt mat. There are Ragas like Males and Raginis are female. Here, we have created as per Hanumant Mat of Indian Classical Music. Artist Navin Soni created 36 paintings of Ragas and Raginis, He also created individual paintings of mat which is of Shivmat, tumrumat, Bharatmat and Hanumant mat. This painting series made in 2009 was a record when any artist made paintings on Ragavandana after the time of mughal emperor Akbar.
